Taking Things At Face Value

In this episode, Sarah and Jez explore how it is important to take things/people at face value from a place of love without judgement, yet having awareness that may alert you to things not being quite as they seem. As they discuss it often takes time to see beyond what is initially presented to us but it is our choice as to how we respond. Being your authentic self at all times is important and that doesn't mean that we necessarily tell our complete story to someone that we have only just met but we do our best to be loving, non-judgemental and compassionate in all situations.

Withholding information is not necessarily a bad thing as we need to feel safe to present information that may make us feel vulnerable. Putting a mask on to hide who we are is different from the roles that each of us plays in our day-to-day lives and often when we feel we need to put a mask on, the person we are deceiving the most is ourself and we need to go inwards to discover what it is we need to address.
